Inside the Obamas’ new house in the exclusive Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

The Obamas’ have begun to rent a beautiful 8,200 square feet, exclusive eight bedroomed home in the private Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C.; with the soon to be ex-president of the United States enjoying a home which is valued to have one of the highest sale values in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington since 2014.

After eight years in office, Barack Obama and family shall be living in the historic 1920s residence, with a gated courtyard built to house up-to 10 vehicles, with a doubled floored flagstone terrace and formal gardens.

The letting agent, McFadden Group, says the Kalorama home has recently been refurbished, retaining hardwood floors throughout, and original leaded glass windows that have been restored and rebuilt with custom high end finishes.

It’s unclear if the Obamas’ will add their own unique twist to this historic dwelling however; it will be interesting to see how the family adapts from the spotlight of the White House to the sleepy town within Washington.
